"Great experience. Very well decorated, with every bit of surface living up to the medieval theme. All the food is also in sync, though still tasty and not “weird” or unexpected. The legendary drinks all come in unique horns, goblets, skulls, etc. which make them really worth trying, if at all for the pictures. A worthy option once you’ve covered all variations of italian dishes while in Rome"

"Fun evening at Avalon! We visited Rome for a few days and went to Avalon twice, once as a couple and the second night with our kids. They really liked the interior, which makes for a very unique and fun experience. The staff are all very nice and were very patient with our broken Italian! The food was all excellent. We highly recommend an evening out there!"

"A friend recommended Avalon and I visited yesterday earlier than dinner time because of travel. The staff was very friendly and efficient and the food - I asked for a vegetarian option - was delicious and also had a very good red wine. I bought one of the medieval collectibles they sell too and was very pleased with my visit. I can see why this medieval restaurant and bar is so popular and can highly recommend it."

"The was amazing!! I didn't get to take a picture of my burger because I was starving but it was TOP NOTCH!! The drinks were good and came in a cute glass. The service was not the best. The server was kinda rude and acted like she didn't understand us (we spoke in English then in Spanish). Was a nice experience and the layout of the restaurant was pretty nice."
